Venture / Startup

A venture typically refers to a new startup or project within an existing company that has potential for high return but also high risk. The term originates from "adventure" and suggests the uncharted nature and potential peril associated with the business or investment opportunity.

In the context of entrepreneurship and business, it might be a new startup, a spinoff from an existing company, or a significant new initiative within a larger corporation. Ventures often require significant capital investment and entrepreneurial management in order to succeed.
